Putting technicalities aside on what self-driving is or what each level of the SAE taxonomy on driving automation means, we’ve witnessed an amazing breakthrough recently with the second robotaxi service launching in the US, Cruise launched their program in San Francisco.

Members of the public can sign up to ride with either Waymo One or Cruise.
